UAE-based healthcare to aviation company Crescent Enterprises' corporate venture capital arm, CE Ventures, plans to invest $150 million by 2020.

Crescent said that CE-Ventures expects to realise the target of investing half of the capital in the region.

Of the $150 million that CE Ventures plans to invest, Crescent said that approximately $65 million has so far been deployed into 16 technology-enabled startups and venture capital funds.

Last week, CE Ventures announced that it led a seed funding round to finance Dubai-based smart kitchen network Kitopi.
